We will enter the heart of the desert and cross the immense Iriki Lake, an extensive flat surface that is dry for most of the year. Our destination will be Erg Chegaga, an impressive set of dunes that rise up to 520m. This is one of the two largest dune deserts in the Moroccan Sahara, located a few kilometres from the Algerian border. This remote place, accessible only by 4×4 vehicles and far from conventional tourist routes, will offer us a unique experience. On our trip, we will also visit the Sacred Oasis and M’hamid, before concluding our tour in Zagora.
